BRAINARD, NE - Weeping Water's boys basketball team started its postseason off with a 53-47 win over Omaha Christian Academy on Monday, as heard on Otoe County Country.

The Indians were led by Nate Tejan, who hit for a game-best 23 points. Gus McGill was also in double digits with 17. OCA saw Nathan Friesen drop in 18, while Jeevan James scored a dozen...all on three-pointers.

The Eagles' season ends with a record of 5-18, while Weeping Water moves on to the semifinal round of the Subdistrict D1-2 Tourney on Tuesday. They'll clash with the host East Butler squad with tipoff at 6 p.m. on Otoe County Country 1600AM/105.5FM and B103.FM!
