BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Nebraska Reptile Show took place over the weekend with slithering snakes and other roaming reptiles. 

There aren't many places where people can go and see some of these exotic creatures in person. 

Outside of shopping online, there aren't many stores that people can try to buy them or items for their, already owned, reptiles. 

Events like this are a great opportunity for people to get out, adventure and take in new sights and sounds. 

"Started the show years ago," said Jason Cruse, Nebraska Reptile Show. "This is going to be an interactive pet store, we could say. Because all of the vendors that are here, if you look around, there are plenty of vendors here. We have reptiles from all over the world, nonvenomous - we don't deal with anything like that. This is a family friendly event, so we'll have lizards, snakes, turtles frogs, chameleons, axolotls here."
