OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Morgan Maly scored 18 points and Lauren Jenson filled up the box score and No. 24 Creighton pulled away for a 70-48 win over Georgetown on Saturday, the Bluejays fifth-straight win and 12th in their last 13 games.

Jensen had 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal for Creighton (21-4, 13-1 Big East Conference), which outscored the Hoyas 46-21 in the middle quarters. Maly has 1,939 points four fourth on the Bluejays career list.

Kelsey Ransom scored 20 points for Georgetown (11-14, 4-10) and Khadee Hession added 12. Ariel Jenkins had 13 rebounds, six on the offensive end. The Hoyas shot just 29% in the second half.

Jensen capped an 8-0 run to open the second half, hitting a 3 and a jumper in the paint, to give Creighton a 40-25 lead. Then the Blue Jays closed the third quarter with a 14-3 surge to break it open. It was 57-34 heading into the fourth quarter.

Jayme Horan made 3 of 3 3-pointers in the third quarter and the Bluejays were 4 of 6 from distance, making 10 of 18 overall. The Hoyas were 3 of 7 behind the arc and 0 of 10 inside, getting outscored 26-9.

Ransom scored seven points to help Georgetown take a 13-11 lead after one quarter.

After a Ransom 3 to open the second quarter the Blue Jays put together a 20-3 run for a 31-19 lead. Hession drilled a pair of 3s for the Hoys to cut their deficit to 31-25 at the half.

St. John's is at Creighton on Wednesday and Georgetown goes to Villanova.

Jakimovski leads Colorado past UCF 76-63 for first Big 12 win in almost 14 years

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Andrej Jakimovski scored 15 points and Julian Hammond III scored 11 points and Colorado earned its first Big 12 Conference win in almost 14 years beating UCF 76-63 on Saturday.

Prior to Saturday, Colorado's last win in the Big 12 before leaving for the Pac 12 was on March 10, 2011 when the Buffaloes beat Kansas State in the Big 12 Tournament.

Sebastian Rancik added 10 points for Colorado (10-15, 1-13) who outrebounded UCF (13-12, 4-10) 52-29 and grabbed 16 offensive rebounds that led to 17 points. The Buffs ended a 13-game losing streak to start their return to the conference.

Keyshawn Hall scored 19 points, Darius Johnson scored 15 points and reserve Nils Machowski 13 for UCF (13-12, 4-10).

Sebastian Rancik's layup with 8:07 remaining before halftime gave Colorado a 25-18 and the deficit appeared to be just what the Knights needed.

Machowski threw down a dunk, buried a 3-pointer and made a layup at the end of a 13-2 run that lasted four minutes and put UCF ahead 31-27 with 2:49 left before the break.

But Colorado made a run and outscored the Knights 11-5 in the last two-and-a-half minutes and Bangot Dak's layup as time expired put Colorado up 38-36 at the break.

Boston Celtics and NBA Champion Derrick White was on hand for the unveiling of his jersey on Colorado’s Wall of Honor. The ceremony took place during the first media timeout with just under 16 minutes left before halftime.

UCF heads to Stillwater, Oklahoma to face Oklahoma State on Wednesday. Colorado travels to play 10th-ranked Iowa State on Tuesday.

Clifford scores 22 in Colorado State's 88-53 win against Wyoming

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Nique Clifford had 22 points in Colorado State's 88-53 win over Wyoming on Saturday.

Clifford added 11 rebounds and five assists for the Rams (16-9, 10-4 Mountain West Conference). Kyan Evans scored 15 points, going 6 of 13 (3 for 7 from 3-point range). Jaylen Crocker-Johnson shot 3 of 4 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line to finish with 11 points, while adding six rebounds.

The Cowboys (11-15, 4-11) were led in scoring by Obi Agbim and Dontaie Allen, who both finished with 15 points.

Colorado State took the lead with 19:24 left in the first half and never looked back. Clifford led his team in scoring with 13 points in the first half to help put them up 44-19 at the break. Colorado State extended its lead to 86-50 during the second half, fueled by a 15-2 scoring run. Clifford scored a team-high nine points in the second half as his team closed out the win.

Moni has 27 in North Dakota State's 89-84 OT win over Denver

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Jacksen Moni had 27 points in North Dakota State's 89-84 overtime win against Denver on Saturday.

Moni added six rebounds and seven assists for the Bison (19-9, 8-5 Summit League). Jacari White scored 23 points while shooting 7 for 15 (5 for 9 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line and added five rebounds and four steals. Masen Miller had 15 points and went 5 of 10 from the field (5 for 8 from 3-point range).

Sebastian Akins finished with 27 points and four assists for the Pioneers (9-19, 3-10). Denver also got 17 points and two steals from DeAndre Craig. Isaiah Carr also had 10 points.

Both teams play again on Wednesday. North Dakota State visits South Dakota State and Denver hosts Oral Roberts.

Henderson's 21 help Portland State defeat Northern Colorado 82-71

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jaylin Henderson scored 21 points as Portland State beat Northern Colorado 82-71 on Saturday night.

Henderson added seven rebounds and seven assists for the Vikings (16-10, 8-5 Big Sky Conference). Qiant Myers scored 16 points and added six assists. Cole Farrell shot 5 for 10 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line to finish with 15 points.

Isaiah Hawthorne finished with 19 points and eight rebounds for the Bears (19-8, 11-3). Jaron Rillie added 19 points and four assists for Northern Colorado. Langston Reynolds also recorded nine points and six rebounds.

These two teams both play Thursday. Portland State visits Idaho State and Northern Colorado hosts Eastern Washington.
