Ponca holds off late rally for season-finale win
NORFOLK - Eight days after mustering only 30 points in a loss to Norfolk Catholic, Ponca bounced back to beat the Knights 49-46 on Friday.
The Indians led by as much as 13, but had to hold off a late Norfolk Catholic rally after star freshman Elsie Keller fouled out.
Knight junior Sidonia Wattier had a chance to tie the game with a three-pointer at the buzzer, but it was blocked, preserving Ponca's win.
