NEBRASKA -- This week Nebraskans are being reminded what winter and snow are.
The National Weather Service several counties are either in a Winter Storm Warning or Winter Weather Advisory.
There will be snow starting Tuesday evening.
The NWS said that light accumulations of an inch or less will be expected until 10 p.m. Snow is expected to become moderate to heavy overnight through to Wednesday morning.
Snow is expected to stop Wednesday afternoon.
The NWS said that snow accumulations of six to eight inches can be expected for the Winter Storm Warning, and three to six inches for the Winter Weather Advisory.
The wind isn't expected to be too strong, with gusts up to 20-25 mph. This will be combined with lighter snow, and minor drifting is possible.
