WEEPING WATER, NE - The Indians defended their home hardwood on Friday night, getting a doubleheader sweep over the Falls City Tigers, as heard on B103.

In the ladies' contest, Weeping Water picked up a 38-29 win. The Tigers hit 3/4 free throw attempts, while the Indians went 7/16. Weeping Water was led by the eleven points of Kalison Miller, while Brinkley McAdams added ten. Falls City had one player in double-digits as Delaney Godemann knocked in a game-best 14. WW is now 12-7 on the season, while FC sits at 6-12.

The guys' game was a nailbiter at halftime with WW holding a 23-21 edge, but the Indians pulled away for a 62-43 win by the final buzzer. Falls City drained ten three-pointers, but only two shots from inside that 3-point line. The squad was also 9/15 at the FT line. WW was at the charity stripe a lot, hitting 18/31 there, and they played most of their game inside, hitting 16 two-pointers. WW was led by Gus McGill's 32 points. McGill was 15/22 at the FT line. Nate Tejan also reached double figures with 17 points. FC had Paxton Armbruster with 15 & Keifer Adams with 13. The Tigers are winless at 0-17 this season, while the Indians now have a 6-11 mark.

Both schools will compete in the East Central Nebraska Conference Tournament this week.
