PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Ryan Kalkbrenner scored 22 points to lead Creighton and Steven Ashworth knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer with seven seconds left as the Bluejays took down Villanova 62-60 on Saturday.

Kalkbrenner had eight rebounds for the Bluejays (16-6, 9-2 Big East Conference). Neal Jamiya scored 13 points and added nine rebounds. Ashworth shot 4 for 9, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc to finish with 13 points. The Bluejays picked up their seventh straight victory.

The Wildcats (12-10, 5-6) were led by Wooga Poplar, who recorded 24 points and five steals. Eric Dixon added 17 points for Villanova. Jordan Longino also had eight points.

Creighton went into halftime tied with Villanova 29-29. Kalkbrenner put up 10 points in the half. Kalkbrenner scored 12 second-half points for Creighton.

Both teams play again on Wednesday. Creighton visits Providence and Villanova travels to play DePaul.

JJ White scores 23 to lead Omaha to 78-69 victory over Denver

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — JJ White had 23 points to lead Omaha to a 78-69 victory over Denver on Saturday night.

White shot 8 of 13 from the field, including 2 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 6 from the free-throw line for the Mavericks (14-10, 8-1 Summit League). Marquel Sutton scored 22 and grabbed seven rebounds. Isaac Ondekane added 10 points.

DeAndre Craig finished with 21 points to pace the Pioneers (8-16, 2-7). Nicholas Shogbonyo added 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals. Pedro Lopez-Sanvicente finished with 11 points and two blocks.

Josh Uduje scores 24 as San Jose State deals Air Force 12th straight loss, 75-64

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Josh Uduje scored 24 points and San Jose State beat Air Force 75-64 on Saturday night, handing the Falcons their 12th loss in a row.

Uduje shot 9 for 16 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 3 of 6 from the free-throw line for the Spartans (11-12, 4-7 Mountain West Conference). Latrell Davis scored 18 on 7-for-8 shooting with three 3-pointers. Will McClendon pitched in with 15 points and six rebounds.

The Falcons (3-19, 0-11) were led by Ethan Taylor with 15 points. Luke Kearney added 13 points. Kyle Marshall finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

San Jose State took the lead with 1:48 left in the first half and did not give it up. Davis led their team in scoring with 12 points in the first half to help put them ahead 37-29 at the break.

Northern Colorado knocks off Northern Arizona 87-69

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Langston Reynolds' 23 points helped Northern Colorado defeat Northern Arizona 87-69 on Saturday night.

Reynolds also added nine rebounds for the Bears (16-6, 8-1 Big Sky Conference). Jaron Rillie added 20 points while going 4 of 7 from the floor, including 3 for 6 from 3-point range, and 9 for 9 from the line and also had seven rebounds and six assists. Isaiah Hawthorneand Quinn Denker both finished with 17 points.

Carson Towt led the Lumberjacks (13-9, 4-5) in scoring, finishing with 16 points and 19 rebounds. Northern Arizona also got 16 points from Trenton McLaughlin and Diego Campisano.

Gwath has 14 points, 11 rebounds; San Diego State uses 20-0 run and then holds off Wyoming 63-61

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Magoon Gwath finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, and San Diego State used a 20-0 run and held off Wyoming for a 63-61 victory on Saturday night.

The late run gave the Aztecs a 61-50 lead with 15 seconds left. Wyoming made eight straight free throws to pull to 61-58 with eight seconds to go. Taj DeGourville then split a pair of free throws for the Aztecs with seven seconds left to make it 62-58.

Obi Agbim hit a 3-pointer for the Cowboys before Kimo Ferrari ended it at the free-throw line.

Nicholas Boyd scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half for the Aztecs (15-5, 8-3 Mountain West Conference). Miles Byrd finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.

The Cowboys (11-11, 4-7) were led in scoring by Dontaie Allen, who finished with 18 points, six rebounds and two steals. Agbim added 12 points and six assists. Jordan Nesbitt had nine points.

San Diego State went into the half leading Wyoming 28-25. Gwath scored six points in the half.
