Peru State College Head Volleyball Coach Steps Down
PERU, NE - Head Coach Madison Kindle has announced that she will be stepping down as head coach of the Bobcats' volleyball team.
Under Coach Kindle's leadership, Peru State volleyball has had numerous successes. She led the Bobcats to their first Heart of America Conference tournament appearance since 2017 as well as the most wins since 2017.
Madison Kindle was instrumental in the development of her athletes, having multiple Heart All-Conference Award winners and All-Midlands Team winners as well as the first Heart Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week Award since the 2018 season. The Bobcats have had 29 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes and several Academic All-District and All-Americans helping the Bobcats post a 3.34 fall 2024 team GPA.
"We are grateful for Coach Kindle's leadership during her time here at Peru," said Athletics Director Kyle Pond. "We wish Madison and her family all the best in their new adventures! We are proud of the recent development we have seen within the program, and we are excited for a new hire to continue to move us forward!"
