UNL choir performs at President-elect Trump’s inauguration

WASHINGTON - Choir students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) made history on Monday by performing at President-elect Donald Trump’s second inauguration. Approximately 120 students shared the stage with the United States Marine Band, opening the official inauguration program.

The choir was composed of students from across Nebraska, representing towns like Grand Island, Papillion, McCook, Columbus, and many others.

Beyond their inauguration performance, the students also showcased their talents at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. During their time in Washington, D.C., they explored the nation’s capital, touring memorials and monuments, including the Jefferson, Marine Corps, Korean War, Lincoln, and Vietnam Veterans Memorials.
