Weeping Water wins Sandy Creek quadrangular
Wrestling team starts season in points standing after 3-0 start
WEEPING WATER - In boys high school wrestling, it was weeping Water with a victory at the Sandy Creek quadrangular on Dec. 10.
Weeping Water defeated Freeman 54 to 17 and Palmyra 45 to 18. Weeping Water topped the hosts 48 to 22.
NSAA points leaders shows Weeping Water in eighth pace among Class D teams with 44.3 points.
Weeping Water is scheduled to compete in the Johnson County Central invite on Dec. 21.
NSAA point leaders by Wednesday were Plattsmouth with 41 and Nebraska City with 39 in Class B.
In Class C, Johnson-County Central is 3-2 with 41 points. Syracuse is 1-0 with 41 points. Conestoga is 0-1 with 39 points.
