LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska topped Louisiana Tech 28-14 on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. 

After a scoreless first quarter, Nebraska opened the scoring with a nine yard touchdown run by Billy Kemp IV, before Louisiana Tech tied the game at seven, making the halftime score 7-7.

The Huskers would dominate the second half, outscoring Louisiana Tech 21-7, with an opening touchdown by Anthony Grant. Grant ran for 19 times 155 yards and a touchdown in his first start as Nebraska's lead back.

Heinrich Haarberg would get the start at quarterback for Nebraska for the second straight week, going 8/17 through the air for 107 yards and a touchdown, while again leading the Huskers in rushing yards, running the ball 19 times for 155 yards, including a 72-yard fourth quarter touchdown run. Tight end Thomas Fidone hauled in Haarberg's lone TD pass.

The Blackshirts again impresses on defense, allowing just 51 rushing yards, as they continue to be a top five rushing defense in the nation. 

After a 56-minute weather delay in the fourth quarter, Louisiana Tech would score the final points of the game, as the Huskers win it 28-14.

Nebraska welcomes second-ranked Michigan next weekend, the second trip to Lincoln in three years for the Wolverines.
