9 people dead from COVID-19, mostly unvaccinated men
The Douglas County Health Department confirmed nine more COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday.

The Douglas County Health Department confirmed nine more COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday, seven of which were unvaccinated.
Nebraska's COVID-19 positivity rate is rising.
The Department of Health and Human Services reported the rate rose to 9- points, 3% from 8.6% last week.
DHHS reported an additional 4,312 cases since October 6th.
Overall hospital occupancy was higher this week. Last week, DHHS reported that 76% of beds were occupied and this week, 77% are full.
More ICU beds are also full this week, with 84% occupied, compared with 81% last week.
