KIMBALL -- The Kimball City Council approved Tuesday evening the appointment of Gabe Ingram to Kimball and Gering’s Land Bank Board.

The board was finalized in August when the city council approved Nan Garrett as the Kimball representative; however, they were informed that the board needed an odd number of members.

With five of the members being representatives for Gering, they wanted to find another Kimball representative.

Ingram said he took part in originally getting the Land Bank started, and he looks forward to joining the board to help the community.

“This is something we’ve been aiming to create for several years now,” Ingram said.

He adds that he will bring his knowledge of finance to assist the board in making decisions.
