WASHINGTON, D.C. - Nebraska Congressman Mike Flood announced a house resolution to provide the public a convenient way to contribute to provide veterans relief from medical debt.
Rep. Flood said those who served and sacrificed for our nation should not face the burden of overwhelming medical debt for care at a Veterans Administration facility.
The U.S. Postal Service would issue a Veterans Medical Debt Relief Stamp with proceeds going to Veterans Affairs to pay down $280 million in veterans debt.
Flood also introduced a resolution to add the names of the crew members of the USS Frank Evans on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
