NPPD says golf tournament raised record funds this year
The Nebraska Public Power District said their annual golf tournament has raised record funds for college students.
The 28th Annual Wells Fargo Nebraska Open tees off in Columbus on September 12 and NPPD said it has collected $185,000 through tournament sponsorships this year.
They said the money will be distributed to five community college systems.
The tournament will be at the Elks Country Club in Columbus. They're not taking any more entries, but folks are welcome to go watch.
