BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Top-ranked Nebraska clinched the outright Big Ten volleyball championship Saturday with a 25-19, 25-16, 25-22 sweep of No. 17 Indiana at Wilkinson Hall.

Nebraska (28-0, 18-0 Big Ten) secured its sixth Big Ten title since joining the league in 2011 and its 37th conference championship overall. The Huskers have now won three straight conference titles for the first time since 2004-08.

NU hit .340 and held Indiana (22-6, 13-5 Big Ten) to .147 while finishing with advantages in kills (45-32), blocks (8-1) and digs (38-31).

Harper Murray led the Huskers with 11 kills and six digs. Virginia Adriano added nine kills on .412 hitting and posted a career-high six blocks. Andi Jackson finished with nine kills and four blocks, Rebekah Allick had seven kills and four blocks, and Taylor Landfair added five kills.

Setter Bergen Reilly recorded 33 assists and nine digs. Olivia Mauch tallied seven digs and six set assists.

After falling behind 9-5 in the opening set, Nebraska surged back behind kills and blocks from Adriano, Murray and Allick to take control and win 25-19. The Huskers followed with a 25-16 win in set two behind a 5-0 run served by Reilly and late kills from Jackson, Reilly and Landfair. Nebraska closed the sweep 25-22, pulling away late after Indiana tied the set at 16.

The Huskers return home next weekend to close the regular season against No. 24 Penn State on Friday and Ohio State on Saturday.
