LINCOLN, Neb. — Top-ranked Nebraska secured a share of the Big Ten championship Thursday night with a 25-15, 25-21, 25-18 sweep of Iowa at John Cook Arena inside the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

The Huskers improved to 27-0 overall and 17-0 in the Big Ten, earning their 37th conference title in program history and sixth since joining the Big Ten. Nebraska needs one more win to claim the outright championship, with its first chance coming Saturday at No. 17 Indiana.

Nebraska hit .384 and held Iowa to .073 while extending its regular-season sellout streak to 350 matches. The Huskers led in every major statistical category, including kills (45-29), blocks (9-4), digs (34-26) and aces (6-3).

Harper Murray led Nebraska with 11 kills and six digs. Andi Jackson added 10 kills on .571 hitting with three blocks. Virginia Adriano produced nine kills, three blocks and three aces. Taylor Landfair finished with seven kills, while Rebekah Allick recorded five kills and six blocks.

Setter Bergen Reilly had 34 assists, seven digs, four blocks and two kills.

Iowa (14-15, 5-12 Big Ten) was led by Alyssa Worden with eight kills.

The win also marked a milestone for Nebraska head coach Dani Busboom Kelly, who became the first coach in Big Ten volleyball history to win a conference title in her first year leading a program.
