MINNEAPOLIS - The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team continued its dominant run Saturday, sweeping No. 22 Minnesota 25-15, 25-21, 25-20 in front of 5,312 fans at Maturi Pavilion.

It marked Nebraska’s first-ever sweep at Minnesota since the best-of-five format began in 1982. The Huskers (24-0, 14-0 Big Ten) also earned their 15th straight sweep and extended their streak of hitting over .300 to 15 matches, finishing with a .434 team hitting percentage.

Junior middle blocker Andi Jackson led the Huskers with a season-high 15 kills on a .619 hitting clip. She connected on her first five swings, giving her 14 consecutive kills without an error dating back to Thursday’s win over Illinois.

Taylor Landfair added 11 kills and hit .550 in her return to Minnesota, while Rebekah Allick tallied 10 kills on .714 hitting. Virginia Adriano added eight kills, and Harper Murray finished with seven kills, 11 digs, and three aces — becoming just the seventh Husker in the rally-scoring era to record 100 career aces.

Setter Bergen Reilly notched 45 assists, six digs, three kills, and an ace. Her 45 assists were a career high for a three-set match, moving her to third in Nebraska’s rally-scoring era with 3,363 career assists. Libero Laney Choboy recorded a match-high 15 digs, and Olivia Mauch added eight.

Nebraska outpaced Minnesota in kills (55-36) and digs (46-33). Aces were even at 4-4, and the Golden Gophers held a narrow 5-3 edge in blocks.

The Huskers dominated the opening set, hitting .588 with 21 kills and no errors. In the second, Murray’s serving run built an 11-3 lead before Nebraska withstood a late Minnesota push to win 25-21. The Huskers sealed the sweep in the third with another efficient offensive performance.

Nebraska will make its West Coast road trip next weekend, visiting UCLA on Friday and No. 17 USC on Sunday.
