SCOTTSBLUFF — The opening round of the NSAA Class B Girls State Golf Championships at Scottsbluff Country Club will begin one hour later than scheduled Monday due to forecasted morning weather.

The Nebraska School Activities Association announced Sunday evening tee times have been delayed to start at 10 a.m. local time. Updated pairings and tee times are available on the NSAA’s website.

Several western Nebraska golfers are in the field, including fro Sidney, Gering, Scottsbluff and Alliance. Sidney, competing after a third-place finish at the B-3 District Meet in Nebraska City, will tee off beginning at 10:00 a.m. from Hole 10. The Lady Raiders are represented by Aubrey Campbell, Josette McConnell, Cali Haas, Lia Capriotti and Sarah Monheiser.

Gering’s golfers are set to begin their rounds around 11:20 a.m. from Hole 10, led by Gracyn Cheloha and Regan Doll.

Scottsbluff has tee times beginning just after 10 a.m. with Addison Carmody starting things for the Bearcats. while Alliance’s state qualifier, Ryley Norris, will tee off at 10:50 a.m.

Play continues Tuesday with the final round of the two-day state tournament.
