PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team swept Rutgers 25-17, 25-15, 25-16 on Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd of 8,000 at Jersey Mike's Arena, the largest crowd to ever watch a volleyball match in the state of New Jersey. 

The Huskers (14-0, 4-0 Big Ten) posted their fifth sweep in a row. NU hit .390, its fifth straight match hitting .360 or better. The Big Red held Rutgers to .061, the fourth straight match holding an opponent under .110. 

It was another balanced attack for the Big Red. Harper Murray had 11 kills, while Skyler Pierce and Andi Jackson added six, and Manaia Ogbechie had five. 

Defensively, Nebraska totaled 14 blocks, led by Ogbechie's career-high eight. Jackson, Murray and Virginia Adriano each had three. 

Bergen Reilly notched 15 assists and two blocks. Campbell Flynn added 12 assists. 

Libero Laney Choboy posted a match-high 10 digs. 

Rutgers (10-6, 1-3 B1G) got 11 kills from Aspen Maxwell. 

Set 1: The Huskers went on a 6-0 run served by Reilly to take an 11-5 lead. Ogbechie had back-to-back kills and a block with Adriano, while Adriano and Pierce each had kills. Ogbechie was in on two more blocks as NU went up 13-6. Sigler and Murray tacked on kills to get to the media timeout at 15-8. Rutgers scored three in a row after the break, but a service error led to two straight kills by Pierce and Jackson for an 18-11 advantage. Reilly and Ogbechie teamed up for a block and each tallied a kill as NU went up 23-15. The Huskers won the opening set, 25-17, after a block by Jackson.  

Set 2: Nebraska used a 6-0 run to take a 17-10 lead. Adriano, Jackson and Murray all had kills during that run served by Mauch, and Reilly and Jackson had a block. An ace by Murray made it 20-11 Huskers, and Allie Sczech provided a kill off a set from Flynn before Jackson tacked on an ace, and the Huskers won 25-15 on a Pierce kill. 

Set 3: Murray had three kills, and Pierce and Flynn each had one before a solo block by Ogbechie made it 8-4. Rutgers pulled within 8-7, but Pierce posted a kill, and Ogbechie combined with Sczech for a block before a Murray kill and Ogbechie solo block made it 13-8. Three more kills from Ogbechie, Jackson and Murray pushed the lead to 17-9. Sczech, Jackson, Flynn and Murray added kills as NU went on to finish the sweep, 25-16. 

Up Next: The Huskers are back in action next Friday at John Cook Arena at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. NU will host Washington at 8 p.m. (CT).
