Stanton offense turns in second straight dominant performance
STANTON - It's fair to assume Stanton has left their 0-4 start behind.
A week after routing Lutheran High Northeast by 58 points for their first win in 2025, the Mustangs blew out Elkhorn Valley 66-15.
Not surprisingly, it was in the trenches where Stanton made their most gains. Offensively, the front five opened huge holes, allowing the Mustang backs to average 11 yards per run play.
The defense never let Elkhorn Valley's high-powered passing attack (averaging over 200 yds/game in the last three weeks) to get comfortable, sacking Falcon QB Jarrett Werner five times.
The loss was the third this season for Elkhorn Valley who have yet to beat Stanton in four tries.
