LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska is 2-0 to start the season after posting their first shutout victory since 2009. 

Nebraska rolled past Akron 68-0, posting 728 total yards, scoring in all three phases. Nebraska running back Emmett Johnson ran the lab 14 times for 141 yards with two touchdowns, while also scoring through the air.Quarterback Dylan Raiola posted a career high four passing touchdowns, going 24-31 with 364 yards. 

First career touchdowns were scored by tight end Luke Lindenmeyer, wide receiver Quinn Clark, and quarterback TJ Lateef. 

The Blackshirts held the Zips scoreless, recording a safety and allowing just 175 total yards.

Nebraska returns to action next Saturday hosting Houston Christian.
