COLUMBUS, Neb.- The Columbus Public Library is looking for artists for artwork to remember one of their own.

Dylan Wall passed away in April from a car accident after working with the library for only a few months.

Staff say that Wall had a big personality and made an impact in the short time he was there.

The library is working with Wall's mother to commission a piece of art to be displayed outside the front doors of the library.

"We're really trying to find something that is the spirit of Dylan." Library Director Jeri Hopkins said, "So Dylan loved adventure and he loved books, to an extent that even librarians don't have."

The library will be holding another opportunity for artists to submit their ideas. The commission for the piece is $1,500.
