PLAINVIEW, Neb.- A man in Northeast Nebraska has been found dead in a fermenting tank.

At approximately 10:00 a.m, Pierce County 911 say they received a call reporting a person passed out in a fermenting tank at the Husker Ag Ethanol Production Facility east of Plainview.

Fire and rescue officials upon arrival found 31 year old Randall McElroy of Cushing, Oklahoma. Officials say multiple attempts to resuscitate McElroy were unsuccessful and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An autopsy has been ordered by the Pierce County Attorney and the matter remains under investigation at this time.
