BLOOMFIELD, Neb.- A Bloomfield woman is behind bars for her role in a 2024 murder.

29-year-old Kaylynn Sweazy will be spending up to 10 years in jail for helping attempt to cover up a double homicide.

Sweazy pleaded no contest to a pair of felonies, according to court documents.

The court's sentencing order says Sweazy received 5-10 years for attempting to tamper with physical evidence and 1-2 for accessory to a felony, with the sentences running at the same time.

She does get 489 days credit because she has been locked up since shortly after the murder at the Bloomfield bowling alley last year.

Her plea came after husband, Alias Reed, was accused of shooting and killing Curtis Strom and William Reffett.
