Downtown Norfolk River Point District Concert Series announces schedule and 2025 acts

NORFOLK, Neb. — Local tourism officials are bringing four Friday nights of free outdoor concerts to downtown Norfolk.
It’s the fifth year of the Downtown Norfolk River Point District Concert Series. The 2025 edition features shows on June 6, June 20, July 18 and August 1. Organizers are offering a new happy hour deal — buy four tickets between 5:30 and 6:30 PM and get a free drink token.
"We are excited to bring another season of incredible music to the Downtown Norfolk River Point District," said Stephanie Bates, Concert Series Chair. "This lineup offers something for everyone, from dueling pianos to country sensations and '90s throwbacks. It's the perfect way to spend summer evenings with friends and family."
All concerts take place at River Point Square in Downtown Norfolk. The series is organized by the Norfolk Area Visitors Bureau.
From the news release:
The series kick off on June 6 with acoustic artist Jeff Conrad opening the night. Conrad’s stripped-down sound is the perfect lead-in for PvP Dueling Pianos, who’ll take the stage with their signature high-energy show packed with crowd favorites and musical battles.
June 20 brings rising country star Billie Jo Jones to town. With more than 130 shows a year across the country, Billie Jo has earned a reputation for high-powered performances and growing crowds. Opening for her is local favorite Mason Michaels, bringing familiar tunes and feel-good country to start the night.
On July 18, the Scott Schram Band will take over River Point Square with a mix of classic and modern hits. Getting things started is Joe Cockson from Columbus, a regular performer across the region and a familiar face from Nebraska Rocks. His solo act is a great fit for fans of the Schram Band.
The final concert on August 1 features FLANNEL, a '90s-era cover band from Rapid City, SD, known for rocking stages at Sturgis and beyond. Opening the night is The Red & Ren Show, a fun comedy-infused act from O'Neill that’s built a following with their energetic and humorous shows in and around Norfolk.
