National Weather Services issues High Wind Warning
PANHANDLE -- The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Cheyenne and Morrill counties.
High winds are expected to be present until 11 p.m. tonight, February 25.
West winds are expected up to 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph possible.
The high winds resulted in Kimball County closing its landfill for the rest of the day.
Additionally, a grass fire is reported south of Mitchell. The fire was reported to be south of Mitchell moving to the east by high winds.
